wirus w mikrokontrolerze USB?

mam gigantyczny problem z moim kompem HP dv7 3020et
istnieje wysokie prawdopodobieństwo,że mój sprzęt został zainfekowany nieznanym wirusem podczas połączenia sieciowego pod windows 7
zainstalowałem Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS i tutaj zaczynają się schody:
ubuntu zgłasza jakiś problem z usb, ale nie wiem gdzie znaleźć logi z komunikatami systemowymi, jestem nowicjuszem
kiedy zamkną pokrywę laptopa to po ponownym jej otwarciu bardzo długo się czeka na znak prompta, a jak już można wpisać hasło to nie można się zalogować,system na coś czeka ,znika tło, pojawiają się jakieś linijki jakiegoś kodu i znowu mam ekran logowania.
Kiedy zaznaczę większą ilość folderów i chcę znać ich rozmiar ubuntu nie jest w stanie ich policzyć,ilość plików i rozmiar cały czas to rośnie to spada
nie wiem jak uruchomić ubuntu w jakimś trybie diagnostycznym żeby zlokalizować źrudło problemu
pod windowsem nic specjalnego się nie dzieje oprócz dziwnego zachowania wtyczki adobe flasha

Logów poszukaj w ~/.xsession-errors ~/.xsession-errors.old pliki tekstowe w ~/.cache/upstart/ oraz w /var/log
Ale skoro Ubuntu zgłasza jakiś problem, to w jaki sposób, jaki komunikat wyświetla?

Zamknięcie pokrywy zwykle powoduje wstrzymanie lub hibernację systemu. I bardzo często nie działa to tak, jak powinno: bywa czarny ekran, niemożliwość zalogowania, totalna zwiecha. Poszukaj w opcjach zarządzania energią i w opcjach wygaszacza ekranu.

w folderze /var/log jest parę logów, ale nic szczególnego nie mogę znaleźć, nie wiem gdzie są te foldery .xsesions-errors czy może to plik, ale nie mogę tego znaleźć (sorry ale jestem początkujący)
komunikaty z błędami wysłałem na serwer ubuntu, były tam jakieś błędy dotyczace xserwera który miał problem z kartą grafiki
ale czasami zdarza się,że jak uruchamiam ubuntu to mignie mi jakaś linijka kodu i coś tam bąka o usb
nie wiem, ale to wszystko jest podejrzane, przedtem takich cudów nie miałem z ubuntu, to zliczanie plików, wygląda na to,że cały mostek południowy z jego mikrokontrolerami jest zainfekowany, czytałem artykuł sprzed roku o nowym wirusie, który implementowano właśnie w mikrokontrolerze usb, objawy miałem podobne - po połączeniu z typem który mnie na to naciągnął, pod windowsem zainstalował mi się nowe urządzenie właśnie na magistrali usb, a po ponownym restarcie zniknęło i zaczęły się dziać cuda, zwiechy ubuntu itp
przydałby się jakiś program i oryginalny soft do mostka ,żeby go przeprogramować, ale nie ma tego w sieci, bios flashowałem i nic to nie dało

w syslogu niestety nic na ten temat nie ma...

Pliki i katalogi o nazwach zaczynających się od kropki to tzw. pliki ukryte. Aby je zobaczyć w nautilusie użyj kombinacji ctrl-H. Patrz w katalogu domowym.

znajduje wyniki nawet z roku 2010 (nie identyczne, ale bardzo podobne), czyli znacznie wcześniejsze niż ten „wirus”. Przeglądając pobieżnie linki mignęły mi dystrybucje Ubuntu, Manjaro, CentOS. Oraz w kilku miejscach była wspomniana myszka lub klawiatura USB.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1610142 W linku pojawia się porada, która zadziałała u kilku osób: wyłączenie komputera, odłączenie od sieci i poczekanie kilku minut przed ponownym podłączeniem do sieci. Jeśli to laptop, to wyjmij też baterię.

Offtopic: Tak samo rozwiązywałem dawno temu coś pod Windowsem XP. Nie pamiętam o co chodziło i jak na to wpadłem.

w plikach xsession nic nie znalazłem, odłączenie zasilania i baterii tez nie pomogło , jak dałem do przeliczenia foldery z całego dysku ubuntu to system pokazał mi nawet 140 TB (!) , bład z usb podczas startu ubuntu nadal występuje
generalnie jakiś dziad siedzi w moim kompie, podłączyłem do portu usb pendriva , ale wszystko chyba jest ok, bo wyczytałem że coś może być z zasilaniem usb
jednak nadal twierdzę ,że to problem sprzętowy
a tak apropos, gdzie szukać opisu komunikatów o błędach ubuntu?, jest jakiaś oficjalna strona czy coś?

Skoro uważasz, ze to coś siedzi w „magistrali USB” i że to „problem sprzętowy”, to jaki to ma związek z Ubuntu? Masz uszkodzony sprzęt, Ubuntu nie jest winne.

Jednak moim zdaniem winowajcą może być wadliwa instalacja lub aktualizacja Ubuntu. Piszesz, że pod Windowsem jest wszystko ok. Generalnie piszesz tak chaotycznie, że ciężko zgadnąć, czego chcesz.

po pierwsze zainstalowałem ubuntu, żeby uniknąć sytuacji,że jakiś wirus spod windy wykradnie mi hasła do skrzynek itp
po drugie, jeżeli coś siedziało tylko w sofcie to po wirusie nie powinno być śladu w ubuntu, a winda jest znana z wirusów
po trzecie ubuntu zgłasza problem z usb, co może wskazywać na to,że problem tkwi w płycie głównej
nie jestem expertem, dzwoniłem do HP i powiedzieli mi że mi nie są w stanie pomóc,zostałem sam i szukam tutaj pomocy dot. ubuntu bo dziwnie się zachowuje (problemy z usb, problemy ze zliczaniem plików), na zasadzie porównania
jak mniemam sprzęt będzie do wymiany
sprawdzę jeszcze inne dystrybucje linuxa, jeżeli będą dalej błędy w oprogramowaniu to znaczy ,że coś jednak jest na rzeczy z tym wirusem
nie pojawia się dodatkowy sprzęt pod windą bez przyczyny, na dodatek bez mojej ingerencji

@gierqs1 jest też możliwość (jeśli wcześniej nie było kłopotów z tym usb), że się po prostu zepsuło...

no i jakoś nie wiemy co masz na tym usb - może wklej wynik polecenia "lsusb"...

no i teraz nic już z tego technicznego żargonu nie rozumiem, ale co robią jakieś informacje o historiach związanych z video ?
przecież karta graficzna nie jest podpięta do usb

a tak na marginesie technik Microsoft przeglądał logi z mojego kompa i też się za głowę łapał, grzebane było w windowsie i to ostro

jeśli ktoś z was wie co te wyniki polecenia lusb mówią to powiedzcie proszę, ciekawi mnie ta pamięć flash HP podpięta do usb

grzebiąc w windows widzę ,że do magistrali usb jest podpięta kamera i to prawdopodobnie jest to urządzenie Acer
następne urządzanie na magistrali to bluetooth i Ubuntu w szczegółach tego dzięki poleceniu "lsusb -vs" coś wspomina, że to bluetooth,ale nie rozumiem czemu identyfikuje je jako pamięć flash i to o objętosci 4 GB
przeglądałem schematy płyty głównej, na magistrali usb są takie urządzenia jak kamera i bluetooth,ale nic co może być pamięcią flash

poza tym ,za każdym razem jak uruchamiam ubuntu porty do których podpięty jest ten Acer i HP flash drive zmieniają porty podłączenia co jest dziwne
