acer 5630- nie działa wifi - Atheros AR928X

Witam, posiadam od niedawna Acera 5630 i mam problem, ponieważ nie mogę się połączyć z siecią bezprzewodową, ba... żadna sieć nawet nie jest wykrywana.
Połączenia kablowe - bez problemu. Z siecią bezprzewodową mogę się jedynie połączyć przy pomocy karty sieciowej pod usb. Bez tego, nie ma szans... ;/

Nie mam pojęcia, czy to problem z kartą, czy ze sterownikami...
Dodam, że jestem początkującym użytkownikiem Ubuntu 8.04...

Mam również tego acera i z tego co pamiętam w wersji ubuntu 8.04 były problemy w 8.10 już było dobrze z kartą radiową.

Jeżeli chcesz zostać jednak przy ubuntu 8.04 to możesz spróbować zainstalować aplikację ndiswrapper i zainstalować sterowniki od windows xp dla Twojej karty sieciowej, wtedy radiówka ruszy.

rozwiązanie po czasie....

sposób wyżej z ndiswrapper nie pomógł, natomiast zainstalowanie Ubuntu 9.04 rozwiązało problem jak za dotknięciem czarodziejskiej różdżki
