Mam podobną sytuację .Wyświetla się komunikat o dostępności aktualizacji a nie mogę zaznaczyć chrome. Instalowałem przeglądarkę przez Ubuntu Tweak.

Wersja unstable przeglądarki Chrome instaluje się bez problemów przez Ubuntu Tweak . Pozdrawiam.
