Ext,nie wiem czy to wina KDE 4.8.4 ale wczoraj wywaliło mi wszystkie pliki z pulpitu a plik
.xsession-errors rozrósł się na cały /home do 4,5 GB

Przywróciłem system z obrazu ale dziś znowu zaczyna rosnąć w tempie ok. 1 MB na godzinę.
Ostatnie wpisy powielają się :

Na genericu z tego co pamiętam również nie podaje czasu pozostałego do wyczerpania baterii. Nie mam w sumie teraz jak sprawdzić, gdyż usunąłem pozostałe kernele zostawiając tylko Twój.

To ma związek z jakimś plazmoidem ?
Ja na moich maszynach mam KDE 4.8.4 i na żadnej nie stwierdziłem tego błędu ... zatem to nie wersja KDE ... a jakiś widgety plazmy masz aktywne ?

Pozdrawiam
Po ręcznym wczytaniu modułów nic się nie zmieniło. Nadal nie podaje czasu pracy na baterii. Podaje tylko czas do naładowania. W momencie odpięcia zasilania dosłownie na sekundę widać czas pracy na baterii. Doinstalowałem kernel generic 3.2.0-25 ale tu też nic nie pokazuje. Dodatkowo na genericu nie można wczytać modułu sbs-battery - twierdzi, że takowego nie ma.

Proszę o informację gdzie są logi z acpi i acpid. Pytam bo podczas wyłączania pokazuję się coś na temat chyba acpid na pół sekundy (jeden wyraz to na pewno error)

Ja wrócę do sprawy akumulatora w moim Dellu

Jak mam stary akumulator to ładuje tylko do 60% i źle podaje czas do naładowania (potrafi mi pokazać ze naładuje się za 11H). Czas pracy około 1 godziny A jak używam nowego to zachowuje się normalnie. Na nowym czas pracy jest 2.5 godziny na KDE na UNITY tylko 2. Konfiguracja KDE jest standardowa.

Po parunastu dniach uzywania Twojego jajka na 12.04 znajduje pare errorow, teraz pytanie czy to ze najnowsze stabilne KDE czy sam kernel.
Jak u innych, nie dziala hibernacja, usypianie jest OK.
Net wifi na Broadcomie i tego kernela zainstalowalem, widze sterownik wl - potrafi sie rozlaczac, musze w aplecie zrobic - Wylacz siec wifi zeby zaskoczyl ponownie - to jednego dnia dziala a drugiego co jakis czas rozlacza.
Schowalem aplet "Error" co chwila jakies bledy kwin, D-bus i inne, w pliku xsession-errors nic mi nie mowiace.
Zwiekszone z zuzycie Power'a wzgledem 11.10 i kernela 17.1
Odmontowanie zewnetrznych dyskow czy pendrive stanowczo za dlugie.

Co do Hibernacji pisałem o tym w tym miejscu ... może włączę to do wątku ze skryptami ... albo zrobię skrypt realizujący to automatycznie.

Zastosowalem sie i utworzylem plik, zobaczymy za pare h - jak zwykle nie moge wylaczyc lapka teraz, dam EDIT gdy restartuje i sprawdze.

Zastanawia mnie czemu czasami mi dany program nie system robi freeza, wlasnie przed chwila to zrobila "Kate" gdy utworzylem plik i Zapisz a potem Zamknij - otwieralem przez konsole wiec wklejam

reszta dzialala systemu, ale takie mulenie mam na innych programach czasami.
Mialem w tym czasie otwarta inna sesje "Kate" jako user, to tak gwoli wyjasnienia.

Wskazane przez Ciebie "błędy" będą standardem w przypadku odpalenia - w tym samym czasie, w danym środowisku - aplikacji przez dwóch użytkowników posiadających różne uprawnienia. Zatem w tym problemu nie ma.

Co do nowego kernela ... zastanawiałem się nad wydaniem wersji v19.2 bazującej na Linux-3.3.8 ... ale udało mi się w końcu zbudować paczki z Catalystami 12.6 [beta], które działają idealnie na kernelach z rodziny 3.4 i powinny bez problemu działać na 3.5. Zmodyfikowałem tu jeden z dostępnych patchy, tak abym mógł zbudować paczki. Zatem v19.1 staje się stabilnym, a kolejne kernele będą już z linii v20.x i bazować będą na Linux-3.4.x - obecnie na Linux-3.4.4.

Co do hibernacji to wystarczy wgranie pakietu z repo PPA:

Też niezłe rozwiązanie ... jescze co do kernela v20.x ... tu konieczne będzie updatowanie firmware - microcode dla Intela i AMD ... prawdopodobnie zrobię tu odpowiednie skrypty - o ile dla Intela jest ten kod w repozytoriach, o tyle dla AMD nie.

ja z czasem pracy na baterii nie mam problemu (DELL) , ale przydało by się zmniejszyć zużycie energii jeszcze bardziej tak aby było jeszcze mniej.

Do czego ten firmware/microcode? Kojarzę także, że kiedyś wspominałeś o nowym schedulerze, który testujesz.

Do czego ten firmware/microcode? Kojarzę także, że kiedyś wspominałeś o nowym schedulerze, który testujesz.
Co do mikrokodu ... to tak jakby firmware dla procesora. To jego sterowniki najniższego poziomu ... normalnie dostępne z poziomu BIOS ... ale często te w biosie są już stare ... i wtedy jądro może załadować te udostępnione mu w /lib/firmware/. W kernelu od linii 3.4 przekonfigurowano zarządzanie firmware i jeśli ma włączoną jego obsługę - AMD lub Intel microcode, a takowego pliku brakuje w w/w katalogu ... "szarpie się o jego brak". Pod linkiem przykład z Arch Linuksa. Aplikacja najnowszego firmware dla procesora = microcode pozwala często na szybsze działanie całego systemu.

Co do nowego Schedulera ... tak testuje RIFS-scheduler [najnowszy stabilny to RIFS-ES-SCHEDULER-LOW-SPEC-3.4.x V1]. Na chwilę obecną jednak jeszcze wstrzymam się z oceną ;).

Jeszcze co do Catalystów, zbudowałem też spaczowaną wersje paczek z Catalyst 12.4, które obecnie są bardziej stabilne od 12.6 beta. Zatem zapewne te wypuszczę wraz z v20.0 ... chyba, ze do tego czasu wyjdzie wersja stabilna nowych Catalystów.
