Zrób test ponownie, i pokaż nam, czy coś się zmieniło. Bo widzę, że w innym wątku narzekasz, że raz Ci działa system, a raz nie działa. A to raczej wina twojego sprzętu jest, bo milionom użytkowników jakoś Ubuntu działa - bez problemów;)
Zrób na Windows jakiś test/benchmark 3D, albo procesora przynajmniej, żeby zobaczyć, jak się sprawuje pod obciążeniem.

Przy instalacji smartmontools. Szybko zapytam, czy to jest na tyle poważne by robić reinstall systemu?

Może być pomocne, zanim to zepsułem, bo to na pewno moja wina...

Wpisywałem następujące komendy (niewiele przy tym myśląc):

1)sudo mkdir /media/fix
2) sudo mount /dev/sda2 /media/fix(replace /dev/sda2 by your drive name.)
3)sudo chroot /media/fix su
4)apt-get update

Haha, nie miałem na myśli, żeby reinstall robić z LiveCD, tylko, żeby na Live zainstalować ten smartmontools:D
Bardzo ładnie, teraz dysk nie sypie błędami CRC i wszystko jest OK.
No to jedź dalej z diagnozowaniem sprzętu - polecam zrobić Memtest (jest na płycie z Ubuntu, w menu na początku wybierz "Test pamięci".
Oraz zainstaluj program Prime95: ftp://mersenne.org/gimps/mprime265.tar.gz (na stronie głównej jest też link do wersji Windows) włącz go na testowanie i niech pochodzi z godzinę. Testuje on pamięci i CPU wykonując ogromną ilość obliczeń. Powodzenia:)

A ten błąd z jądrem? Nie wydaje się być kłopotliwy, raczej irytujący. Bo informuje mnie, że instalacja nie powiodła się (tak było ze smartmontools) ale program się ładnie instlauje i wzorcowo działa.

Nie dokończyłeś aktualizacji kernela(albo coś się posypało). A apt-get próbował to naprawiać nawet podczas instalacji innego programu. Ten problem nie jest związany z tematem tego wątku raczej:)

Wobec tego zabieram się za testy pamięci i podzielę się wynikami.

EDIT: Memtest po godzinie pracy pokazał: Pass1 0 Errors. Zapuszczę go jeszcze na noc. Mam mały problem z zapuszczeniem testu Prime95 (aplikacja startuje) bardziej chodzi o obsługę

Chyba odpuścimy, problem nie jest aż tak poważny, żeby nie dało się niczego na komputerze zrobić, a jak widzę nikt nie umie sobie z nim poradzić. Niech na razie zostanie tak jak jest
