Witam!
Kernel zainstalowany, system dziala.
Dwie rzeczy zauwazylem:
start systemu stanowczo za dlugi i kopiowanie pomiedzy partycjami, tu obojetnie czy z ext4 na ext4, czy z ext4 na ntfs lub odwrotnie - spowolnienie systemu, ladowania stron. Uzywam caly czas na AC.

Szybkość wczytywania porównujesz do generyka, tak ? Odnośnie kopiowania plików te spowolnienia odnotowujesz tylko na 19.1 ?

Znasz może jakiś sposób na zaintalowanie Ubuntu Tweak'a w Kubuntu 12.04, bez konieczności instalowania zależności w postaci elementów Compiza, który gryzie się z Kwin'em, uniemożliwiając jego uruchomienie przy starcie systemu?
EDIT: Właśnie się wyjaśniło: Kwin nie gryzie się z Compizem 0.9.7 i obydwa mogą być zainstalowane równolegle - w moim wypadku Compiz jest zależnością Ubuntu Tweak'a. Po prostu miałem w autostarcie wpis aktywujący Compiza (compiz --replace) - pozostały po zabawach ze zwykłym Ubuntu 12.04 - który powodował, że przy starcie system próbował go uruchomić. Jak wiadomo, Compiz 0.9.7 nie działa z KDE, więc jedynym skutkiem był brak startu Kwin'a.

Po testach z Kubuntu 12.10 liveCD mogę powiedzieć że na moim sprzęcie nadal nie podaje czasu pracy na baterii. Co ciekawe sprawdziłem również Kubuntu 11.10 i tu nawet na liveCD system podaje czas pozostały do rozładowania. Ciekawe w czym tkwi problem.

nie bo biosu nie ruszałam. i wiem ze na pewno są to takie same ustawienia jak na poprzedniej płycie gł.
dodam jeszcze regulacja jasności działa dopóki nie zaczyna ładować jądra systemu.

Możliwe, tylko czy w Kubuntu 12.04 jest kernel z linii 3.3.x? Jeżeli tak to już mamy winnego. W takim wypadku gdzie znajdę konfigurację kernela z Kubuntu 11.10 i 12.04 by je porównać?

Nie w 12.04 standardowo jest 3.2.x, a w 11.10 z tego co pamiętam 3.0.x. Powiedz instalowałeś mój APM 1.4.1 ? bo zaczynam się zastanawiać czy to nie wina pm-utils ... tu Canonical nieźle zamieszał np. standardowo wywalił readahead, etc. - mój APM 1.4.1 go przywraca [podkręcając go delikatnie;)].

Tak, ale jak wrócę do domu to zainstaluję ponownie i napiszę czy coś się zmieniło. Czy coś jeszcze mam sprawdzić?
