Mała rozdzielczość ekranu (Asus VW202SR)

Witam,
Jestem od tygodnia posiadaczem Ubuntu 14.04 na swojej maszynce i nurtuje mnie jedno.. Okropna rozdzielczość.. (1042x768 4:3), posiadam Grafikę z rodziny nVidia GT 520 1GB.. na Windowsie to jasna sprawa, że rozdzielczość była 1680 x 1050. I tutaj mam pytanie czy mogę jakoś uzyskać tą samą rozdzielczość na Ubuntu?

Sterownik masz własnościowy, nvidia. Społecznościowy się nazywa noveau.
Co się dzieje jak zrobisz

sudo apt-get install nvidia-current
a potem wejdziesz w zakładkę system - preferencje - dodatkowe sterowniki? Jakie masz w tym okienku opcje?

komendy w terminalu przeszły bez problemu, w dodatkowych sterownikach wyskoczyło coś takiego:

adding undetected resolution.
Nie wiem czy to może mieć nadal znaczenie ... ale podaj dokładny model monitora.
