Konfiguracja postfixa - nie wysyła maili

Witam mam o to taki problem, po zainstalowaniu postfixa na ubuntu 16.04 nie tworzy mi się katalog maildir i nie wysyłają się maile. Przechodziłem przez 50 różnych poradników i tutoriali ( nie tylko polskich żeby nie było ) i nadal nic nie pomaga. Sprawa wygląda tak maszyna serwerowa stoi na sieci osiedlowej, maszyna jest podpięta pod ethernet do rutera. Ruter był przywrócony do ustawień fabrycznych więc raczej firefall rutera nie powinien blokować wysyłki. Model rutera to TP-LINK Archer C1200. Jak chodzi o katalog maildir stworzyłem go osobno ale nie działał jako katalog mailowy praktycznie postfix go nie chciał wykryć jako swój katalog. Męczę się nad tym problemem od pół roku i nie potrafię sobie z nim poradzić. Przedstawiałem nawet sprawę innym informatykom i oni też byli bezradni przy moim problemie. Mam nadzieję, że przedstawienie problemu na forum to będzie koniec mojej męczarni. Dokładnie chodzi o to że chcę założyć forum i przy rejestracji ma wysyłać maile potwierdzające rejestrację. Forum będzie zrobione na phpbb.

Tutaj są logi z pliku mail.log https://pastebin.com/1BuJKSSd, praktycznie do serwera łącze się przez putty bo serwer jest w innej miejscowości u kumpla w domu.
Ten ciąg wyskakuje przy wpisaniu komendy mail i właśnie nie wiem czemu nie tworzy sobie katalogu postfix w tutorialach wszystkim działa normalnie.

Zacznij od początku...
Po pierwsze - może nie musisz mieć własnego serwera pocztowego - forum może korzystać z jakiegoś zewnętrznego serwera smtp do wysyłania maili.
Po drugie - jeśli już musisz mieć serwer pocztowy i jedynie do wysyłania maili, to po co ci skrzynki pocztowe?

wyskakuje to przy wysyłaniu maila i teraz pytanie przy instalacji raczej powinny się pliki i katalogi potworzyć wszystkie więc czemu tu się tak nie stało ? korzystałem z poradnika który mario podesłałeś.

A co pokazuje te błędy?
Bo wyglądają jakby z IMAP ktoś próbował się połączyć, a nie przez SMTP...

Dokładnie idąc poradnikiem który podesłałeś gdy mamy step 3, wpisuje to echo "This is the body of the email" | mail -s "This is the subject line" your_email_address i przy tym wyskakują te błędy. Maila testowego wysyłałem do siebie na pocztę onet więc raczej wszystko powinno być dobrze dlatego się dziwie że coś takiego wychodzi.

Ok, już wszystko jasne.
Chodzi o sposób konfiguracji postfixa - korzysta z przechowywania maili typu Maildir, co jest trochę dziwne, bo domyślnie powinno być to mbox...

Spróbuj utworzyć katalog o który się upomina: mkdir -p /home/serwer/Maildir/sent

Poczytaj o zmiennej home_mailbox aby skonfigurować sposób przechowywania maili.

Nic nie dało cały czas wyskakuje ten sam błąd. Uzyłem komendy postfix check i wyskoczyło mi coś takiego

Home_mailbox ustawiłem na maildir z myślą że to pomoże i też nic. Zmieniłem na mailbox i wyskoczyło coś takiego

Dla testu - zrób na jakiejś maszynie wirtualnej z czystym Ubuntu (nawet w trybie live) ten tutorial. Mam wrażenie że coś jest nie tak z tym serwerem.

Ponadto - co pojawia się w mail.log oraz mail.err ?

Na wirtualnej maszynie kiedyś też próbowałem stworzyć i pojawiał się ten sam błąd z maildir że nie towrzyło katalogu w ogóle. Nie wiem może jakoś na opak rozumiem poradnik albo nie wiem może mam po prostu pecha.

Co prawda konfigurowałem to na Ubuntu 14.04 ale takich problemów nie było...
Błąd w logu też dziwny, jakby nie było jakichś uprawnień.
Sprawdź na czystym systemie.

Próbowaliśmy na czystym systemie, na wirtualnej maszynie, na wersji ubuntu 17.04 i cały czas nic. Robiłem też z jakiś poradników typowanych dla wersji ubuntu 16.04 i cały czas był błąd z maildir albo taki że niby wysyłał maila ale żadna poczta go nie odbierała.

Gdy niby wysyłał maile - w logach było widać że mail wysłany?
Nie było go nawet w folderze ze spamem na koncie docelowym?

Nie było, wczoraj powtórzyliśmy próbę z wirtualną maszyna, wgraliśmy wersje serwerową taką jaka mamy na maszynie, szliśmy według poradnika który wysłałeś. Mail nie doszedł, nie pokazało żadnych błędów już tylko zachował się tak jakby był wysłany, poczekaliśmy kilka minut i ani w spamie ani w innej zakładce nie było. Maila wysyłaliśmy na konto założone na gmailu.

A logi? W logu mail.log powinno być widać, czy nastąpiło połączenie z serwerem Google i czy wysłano wiadomość.

Connection timed out - coś blokuje połączenie z serwerem zewnętrznym na porcie 25.
Może hosting z serwerem albo dostawca Internetu albo błędna konfiguracja po stronie serwera - jakiś firewall albo router.
