Ubuntu 18.04 brak dostępu do konkretnej sieci poprzez kabel i wifi

Witam. Mam problem aby polaczyc sie z siecia domową zarówno przez kabel jak i WIFI. Jak utworze sobie hotspota z tego internetu (uzywajac drugiego laptopa) to siec wykrywa i dziala ok (analogicznie hotspot z sieci komorkowej). Na Ubuntu live przez USB internet na tym kompie jest. Czy ktoś z Was mial moze podobny przypadek? Dodam że problem pojawił się nagle. W poprzednim tygodniu wszystko działało bez zarzutu. Pozdrawiam

Zaktualizowałem Ubuntu do 20.04 + software routera. Na innych urządzeniach śmiga. Jak sprawdzić czy to aktualizacja kernela? Thx za odpowiedź

To sprawdź jaki kernel ma dany LiveCD / usb a jaki teraz masz w systemie.

Ubuntu live mial wersje 5.3, ja mialem 5.4 - poprzez ukuu cofnalem sie do tego kernela. Problem niestety dalej wystepuje (nawet na najnowszym dostepnie kernelu 5.7)

widze ze cos grzebalem w etc/sysctl.conf dzien przed jak internet przestal dzialac... (ustawialem maksymalne obserwowanie zmian na plikach we visual studio code) byc moze cos w tym pliku zepsulem..

mam takie pliki:

sysctl.conf sysctl.conf.dpkg-old sysctl.d/ systctl.conf systemd/

czy ktorys jest nadmiarowy?

Znalazlem pewne rozwiaznie ustawienie w resolv.conf nameserver 8.8.8.8 -> na chwile internet mam ale bardzo duzo pakietów trace ze 100 tylko 10 odebranych - nie da sie na tym pracować.

Edit: tak moge pingowac 8.8.8.8 - ale duzo pakietow trace

czy moge usunac sysctl.conf.dpkg-old oraz systctl.conf (chyba sam to utworzylem - literówka 't') , czy to moze byc problmem ?
