Cześć,
od kilku dni zdarza się, że mój komputer nagle zamarza, tzn. najpierw nie reaguje na kliknięcia myszką i klawiaturę, a chwilę potem przestaje nawet ruszać się kursor myszki. Pomaga tylko twardy reset.
Pierwsze, co mi przyszło do głowy, to przegrzewanie się - więc rozkręciłem komputer, odkurzyłem, dałem mu wystygnać całkiem i odpaliłem bez obudowy, żeby miał przewiew - pochodził 3 minuty, i zawiesił się znów.

Logi systemowe wyglądają tak:

W takich wypadkach winny może być jeszcze zasilacz, dyskt twardy albo ramy - jak najprościej sprawdzić je po uduntu?

Zamarzanie nie jest powodowane podzespołami komputera. W moim wypadku pomogło CAŁKOWITE usunięcie PulseAudio. Również miałem problemy z tymi freezami.

Zostało mi przyzwyczajenie z Windowsa, ze to pewnie wina sprzetu i nawet nie pomyslalem o oprogramowaniu

Wywalilem PulseAudio i zobaczymy co sie stanie

witam u mnie np. powodem całkowitej zwiechy Ubuntu było zrywane połączenie przez NW ale po instalacji WICD wszystko biega bez zarzutu.

U mnie niestety okazala sie to byc wina sprzetu (i LiveCD i Windows tez sie zawieszaly), i szczesliwie udalo mi sie oddac komputer do serwisu na 3 dni przed koncem gwarancji

Zaczynam się wkurzać

Komputer wrócił z serwisu, i okazuje się, że awaria płyty głownej nie była związana z zawieszaniem się.

Pod Windowsem i Live CD nie zawiesza się.

Próbowałem już formata, i myślałem, że wszystko wróciło do normy - system działał z 5 godzin bez problemów, aż nagle się zawiesił. Nie jest to też kwestia przegrzewania - potrafi zawiesić się jak jest jeszcze zimny, a na LiveCD się nie zawiesza.

Moje odczucie jest także takie, że zawiesza się tylko, jeśli 'coś się robi' - zawsze jest to w momencie, w którym akurat jestem przy komputerze i jeżdżę myszką, czy wpisuje coś na klawiaturze, a nigdy, jeśli jest pozostawiony sam sobie - potrafi chodzić z odpalonym torrentem całą noc i nigdy się nie zawiesił.

Teraz zawiesił się, zrestartowałem go, odpaliłem Kadu i firefoksa - zanim włączył się Ff, system się zawiesił. Restart - to samo. Teraz chodzi, i pewnie zawiesi się dopiero, jeśli coś spróbuję włączyć.

Teraz zawiesza się tak szybko, że nie zdążam nawet zajrzeć do dziennika systemowego.

Co z tym zrobić?

Zgodnie z poradą wyżej, wywaliłem network-managera i zainstalowałem WICD, ale zawiesza się dalej ;/

Zauważyłem jeszcze, że po zawieszeniu zamarza ekran, nie reaguje na myszkę i klawiaturę, ale dysk - przynajmniej przez chwilę - pracuje.

Aha - PulseAudio też wywaliłem

Też miałem ten problem, tylko mi się wieszało wszystko oprócz Fedory. Kombinowałem jak mogłem przez conajmniej rok czasu, żeby dojśc do przyczyny. I nic nie znalazłem. Finalnie problem został rozwiązany, szlag trafił płytę główną. Teraz mam na szczęście nowego kompa.

miałem kiedyś podobnie jak TY ale już nie pamiętam co jeszcze robiłem. Nie jestem pewny ale niewiem czy to nie miało związku z sterami od grafiki chyba je zmieniłem i ruszył. próbowałem wszystkiego co znalazłem na forum aż w końcu pomogło ale nie pamiętam co to było ;/

Taki mały update:

Wkurzyłem się, i zrobiłem jeszcze raz format - tym razem pełny, tzn włącznie z /home - jednym słowem, wszystko od nowa. Przez 4 godziny komputer się nie zawiesił, a teraz znów.

- Zmieniłem sterowniki do grafiki - zawsze używałem własnościowych, a teraz ich nie włączyłem i znów się zawiesił - czyli do nie ich wina
- Nie jest to też wina Pulseaudio (po całkowitym usunięciu też się zawieszał)
- Ani nie jest to wina network-menagera - po jego usunięciu i zastąpieniu przez wicd dalej się zawieszał.

Jakieś nowe pomysły?

1. Skontaktować się z autorami NetworkMenagera, bo to ewidentnie on powoduje problem. U mnie występowały inne błędy, lecz z networkmenagerem w roli głównej i... freez...
2. Formatowanie nic Ci nie da.
3. Rozważyć zmianę dystrybucji, bądź "sterownika" sieciowego.

Ale jak może to być wina network-menagera, skoro po jego wywaleniu i zainstalowaniu WICD zamiast niego też jest ten problem? Mogę spróbować jeszcze raz zmienić WICD na coś innego, ale na co?

jaką masz karte graficzną ??

Mam to samo na laptopie "Toshiba Equium A210i", wszystkie sterowniki domyślne.

Na początek radzę sprawdzić czy rzeczywiście komp ci wisi. Tzn w moim przypadku wydawało się że wszystko wisi a w rzeczywistości wisiał tryb graficzny. W czasie "zwisu" przelogować się do konsoli - kompbinacja np alt+F4. Jeśli chodzi ci tryb konsolowy to przelogowujesz się do trybu graficznego - alt+F7 (chyba.. jak nie to szukaj po kolejnych Fx)
i restart X-ów czyli alt+ backspace.
Przynajmniej da się wykluczyć lub potwierdzić czy to nie X-y się wieszają...
