Error activating XKB configuration - Dell D400

Witam,
mam taki problem, że gdy uruchamiam ubunciaka to podczas wstawania Xsów wyświetla mi się komunikat jak w temacie. Do tego:
it can happen under varius circumstances:
- a bug in libxklavier libary
- a bug in X server (xkbcomp, xmodmap utilities)
- X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation
Tyle.
Co z tym zrobić?
Laptop to D400, grafika Intel 82852/855GM. Mam akcleracje sprzętową ale jest MESA. Może ktoś rzucić linka jak zainstalować drivery - ale to już tak poza konkursem.

napisz jaka wersja systemu. ja mam D400 i po instalce zawsze wstawal. jak instalowales? mozliwe, ze trzeba przekonfigurowac Xy. czy komp wywala sie z powrotem do konsoli czy zwisa?

Mam 8.04 LTS. Po instalce systemu było ok. Były tylko problemy z zawieszaniem.
Pokonałem ten problem. Ostatnio próbowałem przekonfigurować Xy dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg . I wydaje mi się, że to właśnie wtedy to się stało. Komp idzie dalej, tyle, że przy uruchomieniu jest błąd normalnie w okienku graficznym-jak w windzie. System później normalnie chodzi.

A skoro dorwałem już kogoś z D400. Masz problem z grzaniem się kompa?
Bo ja niestety tak. No i z tymi driverami od grafy się uporałeś? Czy jedziesz na MESA?
Dzięki i powymieniaj się doświadczeniami z tym D400, bo ja dopiero zaczynam przygodę z Ubuntu ale generalnie spodobało mi się. Dzięki.
