Czasem większą partycję montuje mi w folderze /media/disk a mniejszą w /media/disk-1 zaś drugim razem na odwrót. Skutkiem tego są problemy w programach z dostępem do plików. Przykładowo w Rhythmboxie tworzę playlistę, której potem nie mogę odpalić po restarcie, gdyż partycja, która była zamontowana w /media/disk-1 teraz podmontowana jest w /media/disk itp. itd. Można jakoś to rozwiązać, by partycje były montowane w stałej kolejności?

Wszystko działa, dysk się zamontował i za to wielkie dzięki (mam tam wszystkie pliki z Windows z którym mam się zamiar pożegnać na dobre.... po raz enty)

Spróbuj ponadawać im etykiety (np. programem mlabel albo ntfslabel - w zależności od systemu plików). Wtedy dyski powinny się montować w katalogach /media/etykieta, co powinno rozwiązać problem.

Mam ten sam problem z Seagate ktory chodzi pod winda bez problemow. ale mam w zamian inne dyski zewn (Iomega i Medion) ktore dzialaja pod ubuntu bez zarzutu.

Pozwolę sobie kontynuować temat.
Mam Ubuntu 9.10.
Już jakiś czas temu przestał mi się montować mój telefon jako pamięć masowa, więc poszedłem za radą ogółu i dopisałem plik http://fts.ifac.cnr.it/cgi-bin/dwww/usr ... rage.rules do /etc/rules.d zmieniając nazwę z 60 na 70.
I wszystko działało.
Dysk zewnętrzny na USB także (NTFS).
Wczoraj wieczorem już nie mogłem wejść na dysk zewnętrzny. Telefon montuje się prawidłowo.

Chciałem zobaczyć wynik fdisk -l ale jest pusty.
Macie jakieś pomysły?

Dysk działa prawidłowo na maszynach z XP.

Jesli macie Dyski USB i podłączaliscie je pod windowsa( w szcególności z ntfs) to proponuję podłaczyć je jeszcze raz pod windę.Kliknąć bezpieczne usuwanie sprzętu i odmontowac dysk.jesli sie zbuntuje to odłaczyć na siłe,oponownie podłaczyć,zamknąc okno autostartu i odmontować dysk.Najbardziej pod tym wzgledem wredny jest windows xp,przy zamknięciu Visty lub Sevena nie ma problemu z podłaczeniem dysku.W XP trzeba podłaczyć i odmontować,bo wywali błąd,że nie mozna zamontować dysku pod Ubuntu.

Witam.
Mam pewien problem z dyskiem zewnętrznym.. spowodowany z resztą przez własną głupotę ale mniejsza z tym.
Dysk to 2,5 calowy 320 gigowy WD, montuje się bez problemu, odczyt plików również, ale problem pojawia się w momencie gdy pliki mają polskie znaki, wtedy nie daje rady. Możliwe że przyczyną jest to że na dysku jest system plików ntfs..

Problem udało mi się ominąć zrzucajac dane na pendrive a potem na lapku z vista kopiując to na dysk zewnętrzny.. ale kupa z tym roboty a chciałem zrobić backup przed instalacja 8.10

A czy próbował ktoś zainstalować Lubuntu na dysku twardym USB na laptopie nez dysku wewnętrznego? Zainstalowałem na tym laptopie lubuntu na pedrivie i chodzi bez zarzutu. Tak sama instalacja na dysku zewnętrznym (trzy kolejne partycje to: swap, ext4, ntfs) nie startuje.
Czy jest na to rada i czy może być napisana językiem dostosowanym do beginnera?

OK, mój problem nie polega na tym, że nie mogę wystartować z jakiegoś zewnętrznego dysku, czy pendriva.
Polega on na tym, że w laptopie nie ma już żadnego dysku wewnętrznego i nie będzie (nie opłaca się inwestować), a chciałbym, aby Lubuntu odpalało się z dysku zewnętrznego.
Instalowałem go od początku z CD, ale gdy przyszło do uruchomienia, to niestety nie uruchomił się z tego dysku.
Taka sama instalacja na pendrivie dała efekt pozytywny - system uruchamia się bez problemów.
A zatem, co należy zrobić, aby system uruchamiał się z zewnętrznego dysku USB mimo braku dysku wewnętrznego?
