Komputer nie włącza się po aktualizacji 18.10

arecki przysłał link do podręcznika pt. tymczasowo dodaj parametr rozruchowy do testowania.
I w oknie GNU GRUB jak zaznaczyło się Ubuntu wciskaliśmy e , strzałką jechaliśmy w dół do słowa linux i klawiszem End do słowa splash. Wpisywaliśmy tu przykładowe parametry. I próbowaliśmy uruchomić komputer.
I z tego wynika ,że wpisywaliśmy tam różne bzdury .

Zainstalowało się wiele pakietów. Wyłączyłem i komputer nie chciał się uruchomić ponownie.
Nie mogłem również przełączyć na tryb tekstowy.
Po dwóch godzinach klikania na różne sposoby , włączył się.
Wykonam teraz następne polecenia.

Dodam , że do momentu zatrzymania otwiera się jako Ubuntu 18,10.
Jak uda się otworzyć to w inf. - ,O komputerze, jest Ubuntu 18,04.
Aktualizacje oprogramowania proponuję częściową aktualizację.

</pre> , ale nie było tam pakietu z błędem.

Wykonaliśmy Twoje polecenie i znów jest tak jak zwykle.
Otwiera się do pewnego stopnia, leci trochę tekstu i zatrzymuje się na tym samym wierszu.

Uruchamiam po swojemu ( opracowałem już metodę )
W oknie GRUB , E, strzałką w dół End w prawo do końca wiersza (nie po splash ), parametr 3,
F10, otwiera się konsola, logowanie i bez roota startx i otwiera się system 19.04
Tylko jest inny wygląd niż przy normalnym logowaniu (Unity, lub Ubuntu )

Nie używasz w Ubuntu sudo, tylko wchodzisz na roota? Jakiś konkretny powód ku temu?

Są tam jakieś proponowane rozwiązania na podobną przypadłość, np:

...i tam odkomentowanie lub dodanie linijki "WaylandEnable=false"

Pierwsza opcja bez powodzenia.
Pomogło usunięcie kratki ( #).
Na razie raz włączyłem bez problemu.

Może jeszcze poproszę o dwa zdania, skąd mógł wziąć się ten błąd i na czym polegał?

Problem z Waylandem, który jest następcą Xorg w nowszych wersjach Ubuntu.
To usunięcie # pozwala uruchomić sesję jeszcze z poprzednikiem czyli Xorg.
Być może trzeba poczekać, aż poprawią współpracę z Twoją kartą graficzną.
