Acer EX 5220 - jak zainstalować wifi

Problem wydaje się prosty, ale po licznych poszukiwaniach w google i na Forum dalej jestem w punkcie wyjścia. Chodzi o to jak zainstalować kartę wifi z laptopa Acer ex 5220? czy trzeba coś instalować, czy wystarczy gdzieś coś uruchomić. Nie mam pojęcia jak ten problem ugryść.

Z komunikatu lspci j.w. wynika, że sterowniki są załadowane. Opisz dokładniej w czym tkwi problem.

Wracając do tej sprawy. Nie uruchomiłem tej karty na paczkach madfiwi. Działa tylko na sterownikach od wuja billa. Napisałem mały poradnik może sie przyda:

Zacznjmy od tego iż ten rodzaj karty nie jest obsługiwany przez paczki MADWIFI... Dlatego konieczne jest usunięcie tych sterowników

W tym celu ściagamy paczkę MADWIFI (madwifi-0.9.3.3 - z tej korzystałem może kolejne będą juz posiadały obsługe tej karty)

Rozpakowywujemy wchodzimy do folderu i odinstalowujemy sterownik poleceniem

sudo make uninstall

Nastepnie ściagamy paczke ndiswrappera
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ndiswrapper
(Ja użyłem wersje ndiswrapper-1.48)

i ładnie rozpakowywujemy poleceniem:

tar -zxvf ndiswrapper-wersja.tar.gz

wchodzimy do paczki i zaczynamy zabawe:

make distclean
make
make install
make DISABLE_USB=1 --- nie wiem po co
make DISABLE_USB=1 install ---- nie wiem po co


No i w tym momentcie mamy ładnie zainstalowanego ndiswrapper'a. Zabieramy się do instalacji sterowników które były i działały nam pod Windą...

Ja skorzystałem z paczki która nazywa się Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter (5.3.0.56) WinXP32

Posiada ona trzy pliki: ar5211.sys net5211.cat net5211.inf

Zaczynamy instalacje:

Wchodzimy do folderu z sterami

ndiswrapper -i filename.inf ( w moim przypadku ndiswrapper -i net5211.inf

i sterowniki zainstalowane

Ostatnia czynnością która nam pozostała jest wrzucenie do modproba ndiswrappera:

sudo modprobe ndiswrapper

Po takich czynnościach polecenie iwconfig ładnie wywala mi wlana:

I jeszcze jedno. Sprawdź dokładnie jaki masz chipset atherosa. Bo model 5007eg jest widziany pod linux'em jako 5006eg

ok dzieki, działa!! tylko w kwestii uzupełnienia przed "make...." dajemy "sudo". tylko jeszcze jedno pytanie, bo na przodzie laptopa jest dioda, które ma sygnalizować przepływ danych w wifi. Czy wam też ona nie działa?? bo mi nie świeci.

Jest jeszcze jedna sprawa, po każdym załadowaniu systemu od nowa, muszę jeszcze raz wpisywać "sudo modprobe ndiswrapper". Można to jakoś zautomatyzować?

Zaczynam sie zastanawiać czy karta wifi w komputerze jest sprawna, na windowsie nie sprawdze bo niemam i nie zamierzam mieć.

a mi dzialalo wszystko dobrze, aż tu z niewiadomych przyczyn stało się tak, że po każdym uruchomieniu komputera na nowo muszę wpisywać hasło WPA Personal. Da się jakoś przypisać je na stałe??
