b) README.sourceusb-modeswitch for Debian
-------------------------
In Debian, usb-modeswitch is supposed to work automagically for all devices
known to work :
/lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules is a udev rules file provided by
usb-modeswitch-data. Along with the /lib/udev/usb_modeswitch and the
/usr/sbin/usb_modeswitch binary, it should trigger the flip-flop switch
when the device is plugged in.
If this method doesn't work, please go to usb_modeswitch homepage:
http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/
… and follow instructions. Once you have a working method for you device,
please report it there: in any case, I don't intend to divert much from
upstream.

2 Usb-modeswitch-data_20120529-1~bpo60+1.debian.tar.This package uses quilt for upstream source code patch management. Please read
/usr/share/doc/quilt/README.source for more information how to apply, unapply,
add, modify or remove patches.
Please note that /usr/share/doc/quilt/README.source is only available in quilt
version 0.46-4.1 or later.
To use quilt with dh:
- add debhelper (>= 7.2.14) build dependency
- add quilt (>= 0.46-7) build dependency
- use quilt addon (e.g. dh --with quilt $@)

b) usb-modeswitch-data.install===== usb-modeswitch-data =====
=== Overriding entries from the database tarball ===
From its 1.1.7 version, usb-modeswitch searches for device switching data in
the usb-modeswitch-data database tarball [0]. This heavily reduces the
database disk space, but makes configuration investigation harder. To solve
this issue, usb-modeswitch is shipped with a patch that allows administrators
to override the database entries from the tarball [0] with files under /etc.
[0] /usr/share/usb_modeswitch/configPack.tar.gz
= Example =
Let's assume one has a 3G dongle "05c6:1000 Qualcomm", which matching database
entry [1] is 05c6:1000:uMa=Option , but isn't correctly switched. Hacking this
database entry can be done as following:
# cd /etc/usb_modeswitch.d
# tar xzf /usr/share/usb_modeswitch/configPack.tar.gz 05c6:1000:uMa=Option
Now the /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/05c6\:1000\:uMa=Option file will get used by
usb_modeswitch_dispatcher when the "05c6:1000 Qualcomm" device gets plugged
in.
When a correct database entry is found, please report it on the upstream
forum:
http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/bb/
[1] One can find exactly which database entry is matching a given device gets
matched with by activating logs (/etc/usb_modeswitch.conf) and reading
them from /var/log/usb_modeswitch*.
Pobrałem też paczke deb , która jest nowsza "usb-modeswitch_1.1.4-2_i386.deb , ale pewnie sie ją instaluje dwuklikiem./usr/share/usb_modeswitch/configPack.tar.gz
/lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules
Proszę o pomoc typu "krok po kroku" jakich poleceń użyć i skledni a by otworzyć w terminalu skąpresowane pliki tar.gz.
Aby użyć tryptyku poleceń "./konfigure, make, makeinstall.
Te pakiety źródłowe pobrałem z tych stron:
