Acer Aspire 3500 - mała rozdzielczość ekranu na Ubuntu 15.04

Witam. Nie dawno zainstalowałem linux ubuntu 15.04 na laptopie acer aspire 3500. Cała instalacja przebiegłą bez zarzutów. Jednak problem polega na tym że jedyna rozdzielczość to 640x480.A powinna ona wynosić przynajmniej 1280x800. Próbowałem już wielu sposobów i nic. Dodam jeszcze że gdy uruchomię system z płyty to rozdzielczość wynosi 1024x768 i taką rozdzielczość przynajmniej chciał bym uzyskać. Wie ktoś może jak to naprawić

Wątpię bym znalazł sterowniki dla mojego laptopa. A gdy zainstalowałem sterowniki nvidia system nie chciał się uruchomić. Więc musiałem go ponownie zainstalować. Więc nie ma innego sposobu ?
