Instalacja ubuntu bez grub, i co dalej?

Witam
Dzisiaj postanowiłem zainstalować na swoim komputerze Ubuntu obok Windowsa 10. Mam dwa dyski: pierwszy to dysk ssd na którym mam Windows 10, drugi to hdd na którym mam swoje dane. Wymyśliłem że zainstaluje ubuntu na hdd obok moich danych. I tu się zaczynają moje pytania.
1) Stworzyłem nowe partycje dla Ubuntu root i home. Nie stworzyłem partycji swap, czy warto ją stworzyć?
2) Podczas instalacji wyskoczył problem, ponieważ jak się domyślam na dysku hdd nie było żadnej partycji dla gruba. Pominąłem instalację grub i zainstalowałem linuxa bez niego. Czy mogę teraz stworzyć tą partycję i doinstalować tam grub?n
3) Czy jest jakaś możliwość aby linux był jako dodatkowa opcja w boot manager w biosie? Jeżeli tak to jak to zrobić?

Oglądałem parę filmów i przeczytałem kilka tematów na forum ale nie widzę klarownej odpowiedzi na moje pytania.

Ad 1. Raczej tak. W zależności ile masz RAM-u i czy używasz hibernacji.
Ad 2. Nie musisz mieć osobnej partycji na GRUB-a. Przy instalacji miałeś instalować Grub-a na partycji którą Ci wskazał instalator. Teraz nie twórz partycji, tylko zainstaluj Grub-a.
Ad 3. Nie rozumiem pytania o Linuxie w Biosie

Gdzieś na yt widziałem jak autor wszedł w bios i tam jak masz opcje boot manager i masz windows bootmanager, usb, dvd, to miał opcje linux która nazywała się ubuntu 14.04.
U mnie w biosie jest możliwość dodania kolejnej opcji rozruchu. I teraz mogę się tylko domyślać ze to działa tak że najpierw ustawiam linuxa i on uruchamia gruba a mogę wybrać ze od razu ma uruchamiać się windows manager. Chodzi mi o ten filmhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYiytR-1tYU .
Druga rzecz co do instalacji gruba. Jeżeli teraz wejdę w linux z usb i każe doinstalować grub to czy nadpisze mi on boot manager windowsa? Bo będę musiał mu wskazać partycję
gdzie jest boot manager od windows a on jest na innym dysku w który nie chciałbym ingerować.
