Witam.



Najpierw podam parametry mojego komputera:

Płyta główna: ASUS P5VDC-MX

Procesor: Intel Celeron 3.06GHz

Pamięć: 2x512MB DDR2

Karta graficzna: ATI Radeon 9550 256MB/128bit na AGP

System: Ubuntu 8.10


Podczas odtwarzania filmów zużycie procesora podskakuje do 100%, a gdy powiększe okno odtwarzania klatkuje obraz. Firefox się przywiesza, czasami nawet potrafi się na chwile zawiesić odtwarzanie muzyki. Podobna sytuacja jest np. z odtwarzaniem filmów na youtube i innych tego typu serwisach. Gdy ustawię efekty graficzne na "Normalne" jest jeszcze gorzej. Przeglądanie stron jest bardzo uciążliwe, przewijanie zamiast działać płynnie przeskakuje ok. co sekunde w zależności od wielkości strony i jej zawartości. Dodatkowo system się zawiesza, zamraża się ekran i nie można nic zrobić. Mam zainstalowane sterowniki zamknięte ze strony ATI. Gdy moje podejrzenia padły na kartę graficzną/sterowniki wypróbowałem Ubuntu na zintegrowanej karcie graficznej o 4x mniejszej pamięci. Odpaliłem i wszystko było OK. Odtwarzanie filmów śmigało tak samo jak i przeglądanie stron. Nie raz przeinstalowywałem system i sterowniki lecz to nie daje rezultatu. Robiłem test pamięci RAM i nie było żadnych błędów. Na Windowsie wszystko jest ok - gry chodzą jak trzeba, filmy to samo. Moje pytanie brzmi: w czym tkwi problem? Czy jest jakieś inne wyjście niż wymiana karty graficznej, o której na razie nie ma mowy?

Może wyłącz efekty pulpitu-miałem Radeona 9800 Pro i przy włączonych efektach też nie mogłem obejrzeć filmu czy pograć:)

Nawet przy wyłączonych efektach oglądanie filmów wykorzystuje 100% procka i sie troche przycina.

Ze sterami męczę się już sporo czasu, teraz znowu filmy mi się zacinają, trochę jest spowolniony system, bardzo obciąża procka, jak na firefox (nawet 60% cpu) przeglądam strony to się zacinają, aaa YT zawiesza się , podczas normalnej pracy bez programów cpu 10% najwięcej zżera xorg.

No sam niewiem właśnie jak poszukaj problemy z dźwiękiem i popatrz co tam radza. Ja zainstalowałem Minta i tam niemam takich problemów. Wiem, że na Ubuntu się to gryzie.
