Pod Windowsem wszystko działa bez zarzutu (za co go bardzo lubię! - tak, ukrzyżujcie mnie za to wyznanie

Wygląda na to, że karta bezprzewodowa jest zainstalowana i działa poprawnie:

Przecież Access Point wyraźnie się zareklamował (wywołanie: "iwlist wlan0 scanning") pisząc, że "Frequency:2.412 GHz (Channel 1)".
Dodatkowo zwrócił moją uwagę fakt, że przecież wpisałem klucz WPA w network managarze, a przy wyniku iwconfig wlan0 pokazuje się:

Przekopałem już tony postów i nic.
Ludzie mieli jakieś problemy z tą kartą, z tą wersją systemu, z przyciskiem na obudowie laptopa włączającym/wyłączającym kartę, ale nic nie pasowało do mojego problemu.
