Drukarka hp 1018- błąd usb "device descriptor error -100"

Witam, ostatnio postanowiłem wreszcie wziąść się za instalacje drukarki, użyłem tych sterowników z systemu- wyszystko ładnie się zainstalowało, lecz odrazu po pierwszym restarcie po załadowaniu się systemu wywaliło mi czarny ekran i mniej więcej takie coś:

Ubuntu nie chcę się uruchomić - muszę odłączyć drukarke i wtedy dopiero normalnie wchodzi mi system.
Zainstalowałem ostatnio te sterowniki http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/INSTALL ale błąd nadal występuje.
Aha - podczas instalacji wyzej wymienionych sterowników gdy wpisuje ostatnią komende

wywala mi takie coś pod koniec- to chyba jakiś błąd nie?

Co robić? Probowałem podpiąć drukarke pod inne USB- nie działa, samo USB dobrze chodzi bo mam tam podłączony modem i kamerke i działają one bez zarzutów.

Do tego ciągle mi w trayu wyje że drukarka nie działa poprawnie- fakt faktem teraz przynajmniej komputer uruchamia się z podłączoną drukarką i nie pokazuje błędów podczas ładowania systemu.
