Via Chrome9 i ubuntu 9.04

Witam.
Dnia 26 pazdziernika VIA wypuściła nowe sterowniki do nieszczęsnej karty Via Chrome9 dla Ubuntu 9.04. Po mimo iż próba instalacji tych że sterowników kończy się sukcesem , to konfiguracja XOrga (może tylko w moim przypadku

) przysparza mnóstwo kłopotów. Do rzeczy : Niby system ładuje się , słychać sławny dzwięk uruchomienia Ubunciaka ( tadam

) jednak ekran cały czas jest czarny .

Też mam Chrome9 (VN896) i próbowałem z tym walczyć i miałem ten sam błąd co Ty. Problem leży w konfiguracji xorg'a. Rozwiązanie znalazłem na ubuntuforums, mianowicie poprawnego xorg'a.

Dziekuje za odpowiedz , mniej jednak problem dalej u mnie pozostaje . Jak na razie doszedłem do tego iż ekran wyłącza sie przy wywołaniu :

option "RandR" "false"

Gdy opcja jest wyłączona lub true wyskakuje : Wrong EDID , screens not found.

Próbowałem już kilkunastu różnych konfiguracji znalezionych na ubuntuforums , bez skutku . Jestem początkującym użytkownikiem i nie za bardzo potrafię sobie z tym poradzić.

Witam! Także męczę się z tym sterownikiem. Na początku po instalacji via Xx wywalały mi błąd, że nie znaleziono modułu viavideo. Gdy zamieniłem xorg.conf na przedstawiony powyżej miałem ten sam problem co Kolega rozpoczynający wątek. Mój laptop to Amilo V3515 z rozdzielczością ekranu 1280x800, więc kombinowałem w .conf przy tych parametrach, ale nic to nie dało. W Ubuntu 8.04 akceleracja działa z drobnymi błędami, ale w Nexuiz można było pograć!

Czy ktoś ma rozwiązanie?

Mysle ze to problem laptopa(mam tego samego

) , czytajac inne wątki o Via Chrome9 na ubuntu ludzie piszą że drivery działają .

Mniej jednak pozostaje problem ekranu . Przy włączonej opcji RandR co jakiś czas sie uruchamia natomiast w configu bez RandR panel pozostaje wyłączony. Sprawdzałem nawet na zewnętrznym monitorze - to samo . Niestety brak mi już pomysłów i wiedzy .

Mam wielką prośbę do użytkowników laptopa Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro v3515.
Mam Ubuntu 9.04, i ostatnio "coś" mi się rozjechało w xorgu, i wyświetla rozdzielczość 1280 x 768, przez co wszystko jest lekko rozciągnięte w górę.
