Kernele testowe/stabilne wersja v18.x - atom oraz K8

Dziękuję bardzo za pomoc i z niecierpliwością czekam na skrypt.

Czasami listwa przeciwprzepięciowa szwankuje ze starości, i tylko wtedy mam "twarde" resety, choć może nawet dzisiaj pójdę kupić nową. Ogólnie nie wiem co musiałbym zrobić żeby stracić dane pod ext4 - chyba fizycznie rozwalić HDD. Ostatnio w skutek zabaw z Gparted (wspomniane przenoszenie systemu na świeżą partycję), w pewnym momencie uszkodzeniu uległe tablica partycji (nie pierwszy raz Gparted ma takie "fochy"). Na szczęście, po 3h w końcu rozwiązałem problem Testdiskiem, jedynie kosztem zmiany statusu partycji /home z rozszerzonej na podstawową i jej numeru z sda5 na sda3.

Nie wiem, czy był taki postulat. Da się w tym wątku wyłączyć sklejanie postów? Przynajmniej dla Ext73, bo czasami jego posty zauważa się po jakimś czasie (czasami dłuższym).

Mam już 100% pewności że cały czas mamy do czynienia z jednym i tym samym błędem. Przy bieżącym uruchomieniu pojawił się on tuż przed załadowaniem X'ów. Najpierw skończyło się ładowanie systemu i była tylko opcja zalogowania, więc myślałem że coś nie tak z X'ami, i/lub modułem nVidii, ale po chwili wyskoczył znajomy błąd, a dioda HDD zaczęła świecić ciągłym światłem.

Kernel K8 przeznaczony jest dla laptopów i maszyn stacjonarnych ("stacji roboczych").

Fakt, dawno nie testowałem generic'a w 11.04, ale np. w 12.04 różnica między standardowym jajkiem i K8 jest bardzo duża - na tym pierwszym system chodzi jak mucha w smole.

Co do wydajności i responsywności ... Twierdzi Kolega Dominbik, że moje kernel są wolniejsze i mnie responsywne od kerneli stockowych [generic] ? Cóż pozwolę sobie uniknąć komentarza

Z screnem będzie średnio bo jak nacisne klawisz to od razu budzi się, a nagrać telefonem nie mogę bo kamerka chwilowo nie działa. Wygląda mniej więcej to tak jakby ekran skacząco się ściemniał(raz super ciemne raz szare potem jeszcze bardziej ciemniejsze i szarsze itd.aż wygaśine) i biały piasek który chodzi od góry do dołu jak by skanował ekran. Używam gnoome 3. Może jak będzie aktualizacja cyanogenmoda to uda mi się to nagrać.

hmm zatem pewnie, jakiś błąd w GNOME3. Choć na teraz zgaduje. daj może log dmesg i kernel.log.

O powiem Ci widziałem coś takiego ... na dysku u moich rodziców = "uwalony" dysk, a raczej jego elektronika. Działa, ale trzeba wymuszać dma, etc. Sprawdź proszę - jeśli masz taką możliwość ten dysk na innym komputerze. Przeskanuj ewentualnie w poszukiwaniu uszkodzonych sektorów. Dysk rodziców to maxtor i testowałem na 4 komputerach stacjonarnych - chipsety: VIA, AMD, Nvidia i Intel i na każdym było to samo. Jeśli to miałeś incydentalnie, sprawdź proszę kabel - też raz miałem taką sytuacje, jak mi się kabel - tu właśnie jeszcze na ata - "podłamał". Jeśli będzie się powtarzać, a poprawa/podmiana kabla i sprawdzenie na innej maszynie pokazuje to samo, to wysokie prawdopodobieństwo, że dysk padł.

Niestety, to na razie mój jedyny komputer, a innej taśmy ATA też nie mam za bardzo skąd wziąć. Na szczęście akurat na Allegro jest niezła okazja, zwł. przy dzisiejszych cenach HDD - używana Barracuda 750GB 16MB cache ATA-100, z roczną gwarancją od sprzedawcy, za 275 zł z wysyłką kurierską.

Co do dysków, to może w pierwszej kolejności sprawdź Pan kable, by nie okazało się, że to kabel, albo kontroler robi takie chece.

Maszyny mam nadzieje w przeciągu 2, a najdalej 3 tygodni.

Z tymi cenami to jest masakra

Sam chciałem kupić twardziela, kazali mi poczekać, bo niedługo ceny mają spadać, a tu ani drgną... Niby uruchomili już produkcję w Tajlandii po powodzi... no i "nasi" też wykorzystali ten fakt i zawyżają ceny, czego się nie robi, aby się wzbogacić

Używanego nie zamierzam kupować i czekam na spadek cen. Jeszcze niedawno ceny dysków były baaardzo przystępne

Wydaje mi się, że druga zmienna ma jakąś nazwę, niestety ktoś w kodzie pomylił i samego inta wpisał...

No tak kod sterownika nie dostosowany do architektury kernela 3.2.x. W tym miejscu mamy zgłoszenie "błędu". Natomiast w tym miejscu pewna wskazówka, jaki element źródeł należy poprawić.

Ponadto "dorwałem" źródła, które spróbuje wbić do wersji v18.3 i ... zobaczymy, czy zadziała

ale muszę się temu przyjrzeć bliżej, zanim stwierdzę, ze może jakieś negatywne efekty wywoływać.

Co do responsywności ... to dziwne, ze na Unity jest lepiej, a na GNOME3 gorzej, lub podobnie ... ?!?
