Teraz domyślnie w KDE jest ustawione na raster.
O ile dobrze myślę,to proces renderowania jest przy takim ustawieniu generowany przez CPU i (tak czytałem ) jest to półśrodek.
Byłoby idealnie korzystać z openGL, jednak to może rozwalić system.
Ale niech się tu wypowiedzą bardziej mądrzy w tym temacie.
Jak ja przeszedłem na Kubuntu 11.04, na początku otwarcie 3 okien w dolphinie zaczęło mulić niemiłosiernie.

Ten poniższy błąd, pojawia się na baterii/AC, czy na obu ... dźwięk działa wtedy ? Być może tu albo zmiany w ALSIe odbijają się na chipach Intela, albo zbyt stare biblioteki ALSA w 12.04 w stosunku do zmian w kernelu ... ciekawe, jak byłoby pod 12.10 ?

Dzwiek dziala, na baterii nie sprawdzalem, caly czas na AC.
Nie chce sie bawic w instalacje 12.10, widzac ta liste tematow na forum, ze cos nie dziala.

W tej chwili ogolnie dziala wszystko, poza hibernacja z kombinacji klawiszy FN+F2 i od samego poczatku pod linuxem przycisk wylaczajacy siec wifi/bluetooth.
FN+F2 jakis czas temu jeszcze dzialal pod linuxem, kiedy przestal reagowac trudno mi okreslic pod ktorym kernelem przestal, czesciej uzywam uspienia FN+ESC.
Tym siem nie przejmuje, zawsze zostaje opcja w aplecie baterii.

Niestety wróciły problemy ze startem pod v.21.0
Ile prób trzeba zrobić żeby zyskać pewność, mnie 8 zwiodło. Dziewiąta i niewypał, zaraz po tym jak napisałem że jest OK.

We wszystkim występuje zbyt duża przypadkowość, kłopot z optimusem przeniósł się na v.20.3 mimo ze sterownik 304.60 jakoś nie wadził pod tym kernelem.
Już nic nie rozumiem. Żre teraz 24W chociaż trzy dni temu zjechało nawet poniżej 8W (po redukcji wpisów w GRUBie)
Wyłączam bo "smaży mi się kurz" na karcie graficznej.

Wireless Power Saving for interface wlan0 tylko pod v.21 jest Bad ale daje się przestawić na Good
Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1030 (rev 34)

Niestety wróciły problemy ze startem pod v.21.0
Ile prób trzeba zrobić żeby zyskać pewność, mnie 8 zwiodło. Dziewiąta i niewypał, zaraz po tym jak napisałem że jest OK.

We wszystkim występuje zbyt duża przypadkowość, kłopot z optimusem przeniósł się na v.20.3 mimo ze sterownik 304.60 jakoś nie wadził pod tym kernelem.
Już nic nie rozumiem. Żre teraz 24W chociaż trzy dni temu zjechało nawet poniżej 8W (po redukcji wpisów w GRUBie)
Wyłączam bo "smaży mi się kurz" na karcie graficznej.

kolejny nieudany start pod v.21.0, zatrzymało się na:

Co do wifi cenna uwaga przyjże się temu. Natomiast pozostałe kwestie - widzę, że pod Intelem ujawniają się jakieś problemy z ACPI - widać ostatnie zmiany [wprowadzone przez Developerów Intela] dość ostre w sterownikach intela i ACPI związane z Sandy i Ivy bridge jednak jeszcze ujawniają "bugi", zatem tak wywal Pan z Gruba wpisy

i zobaczymy.

Zadziwia mnie jedno, na maszynach które supportuje z kernelem i7 takie sytuacje nie występują = wszystko chodzi genialnie płynnie i oszczędnie ... a tu jedyną różnicą jest mocniejsza optymalizacja nic co mogłoby wpływać na ACPI. Fakt część z nich sam przygotowywałem - aha żadna z nich nie ma Optimusa = dla mnie "sztuczne" rozwiązanie.

Podobnie APU AMD i desktopowe środowiska AMD nie ujawniają żadnych błędów na ACPI wszystko działa genialnie stabilnie i szybko i oszczędnie [na baterii] ... a mówiło się, że AMD słabo sobie radził do tej pory ze sterownikami i wsparciem ;P Ostatnio Intel daje ciała i pod Linuksem i Windows – pod win 8 są niezłe jaja z jego chipsetami ponoć :P

Co do cpufreqd to nie używam. Skoro procesor ma możliwość przyoszczędzenia trochę energii to niech to robi :P
Zatem kwestia ACPI i zarządzania energią, jak myślałem ... zatem spróbuje takiego rozwiązania:

działa :) Wydajność chyba taka sama jak przy samym rc6=0 (jest to ocena organoleptyczna :P)

Mam nadzieję, że Intel szybko poradzi sobie z tymi bugami :P

Przeprowadziłem mały eksperyment i włączyłem SNA

Vaapi dalej działa. Szkoda tylko, że np. wydajność Prezentacji okien wynosi 19 FPS bez vsync gdzie inne efekty oscylują wokół 60 FPS również bez vsync :P Po włączeniu vsync wyniki to 17 FPS dla prezentacji vs 50-60 FPS dla pozostałych efektów. Siatka pulpitu również powoduje znaczny spadek FPS (o 50%). Mógłby intel lepiej popracować nad swoimi sterownikami :P

Już to przerabialiśmy, kilka dni temu usunąłem wszystkie wpisy dotyczące ACPI i po jakimś czasie dodałem "acpi_backlight=vendor" ze względu na irytujące problemy z regulacja podświetlenia jakie występują bez tego wpisu. Aktualny wpis:

Podejrzewam że większość tych problemów jest przez optimusa... dotyczy to także botowania liveCD/pendrive, od 1,5 roku mojej przygody z tym komputerem, startowała połowa próbowanych dystrybucji, z czego część zdecydowanie losowo. Kubuntu nigdy nie zawiodło w tej kwestii. Mam też dostęp do 2 innych komputerów i z nimi było zawsze OK (stacjonarka i laptop HP z integrą)

Jeszcze jedno zauważyłam ze komputer na twoim jajko nie wchodzi w stan uśpienia po upływie czasu (wchodzi tylko po upuszczeniu klapy).

Widzę, ze ewidentnie są jakieś problemy z ACPI na maszynach z Optimusem - przynajmniej na tych na których nie jest on skonfigurowany prawidłowo.

Panowie, nie mogę 21.1 zaisntalować, to samo było z 21.0 :( ponadto wyskoczył błąd: "Wystąpił problem podczas wczytywania "WnckletFactory::WindowListApplet" - Usuń czy nie usuwaj. NIe minimalizują się programy na dolnej listwie. Pomóżcie Panie i Panowie.

Dodam tylko, że na kernelu v.21.0 zdarzył mi się raz. Teraz to nawet ze 3 razy dziennie. Zawsze podczas używania touchpad'a. Przy korzystaniu z myszki nie udało mi się tego "dokonać".
Jeśli wybierasz Ubuntu to tylko LTS!

Witaj przejże logi i odezwę się jutro ... tylko proszę powiedz czy tych samych sterowników używałeś Pan pod v21.0 i v21.1 ?

Tak, jadę na 12.10. Wyłączyłem w ustawieniach touchpada przesuwanie, oraz wyłączanie podczas pisania i testuje już przez 5h. Na razie jest spokój, ale dla pewności możesz rzucić okiem ;-)

a odświeżyłeś Pan repozytoria i wszystko oki ? :

jeśli wyskoczą, jakieś błędy to:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
Jeśli repozytoria nie są zablokowane powinno działać już oki ... i albo dokona instalacji kernela - jeśli ściągnął paczki albo wtedy wykonaj jeszcze raz instalator.
