Jak przerobić xubuntu 13.04 na gnome ubuntu ?

i czy bezpiecznie i dobrze było by dodać zewnętrzne repo z gnome 3.8 ?

Zaczerpnięte z poradnika zamianu Unity na Gnome Shell 3.8
W terminalu:

Kod: Zaznacz cały

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3

Później:

Kod: Zaznacz cały

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gnome-shell ubuntu-gnome-desktop

W czasie instalacji powinno pojawić się okno wyboru domyślnego ekranu logowania: czy ma to być lightdm, czy gdm.
Po zainstalowaniu i ponownym uruchomieniu, w opcjach na ekranie logowania wybierz sesję Gnome.

Jest ryzyko niewielkiego zmniejszenia stabilności systemu. Kiedy ostatnio testowałem (krótko) Gnome 3.8 było u mnie stabilne.

Edycja: To u mnie to jednak nie był Gnome 3.8 ale fork Gnome - Cinnamon 1.8
