Błąd instalatora: "This is not an official Ubuntu package. Please remove any third party package and try again"

Witam. To mój pierwszy post na forum, ale jeszcze nie wiem czy warto się przedstawiać, bo póki co moja instalacja Ubuntu nie przebiega zgodnie z myślą...

Mianowicie - na moim Debianie 7.1 przy pomocy programu UNetbootin stworzyłem na pendrive (2GB) bootowalną wersję Ubuntu LIVE 12.04, z oficjalnej strony Ubuntu. Przetestowałem dystrybucję za pomocą opcji "Try before install", spodobało mi sie - odpaliłem instalację. Problem w tym, że na końcu instalacji wyrzuca błąd instalatora - a zainstalowanego systemu nie można odpalić - "Kernel image not found". Co polecacie w tej sytuacji zrobić?

Przy kolejnej próbie instalacji jest opcja "zainstalowanie Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS obok Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS, czyli system się może zainstalował, ale bez GRUBa? Samego GRUBa próbowałem instalować, ale coś idzie nie tak w terminalu, a ja nie jestem programistą... Proszę o pomoc i pozdrawiam, każdy pomysł się liczy : )

Jaki błąd instalatora? Wróżką raczej nikt tu nie jest. Instalacja doszła do końca, a jedynie GRUB nie został zainstalowany? Przerwała się wcześniej? Możesz zainstalować GRUB nawet z pendrive'a (poszukaj na forum), którego wykorzystywałeś do instalacji, ale być może (i prawdopodobnie) instalacja jest mocniej walnięta niż jedynie brak GRUBa.
Informacje o instalacji masz w /var/log/installer - możesz to podlgądnąć także z innego systemu, po zamontowaniu dysku/partycji, na którym instalowałeś Ubuntu (prawdopodobnie będą potrzebne uprawnienia administratora).

Spróbuj zatem wykorzystać inne programy. UNetbootin lubi sprawiać problemy.

nie lepiej stworzyć bootlowanego pendrive za pomocą dd ? Przy większości dystrybucji to działa spokojnie.
