słaby dźwięk w audacity

Próbuję ustawić Audacity... niestety, bez sukcesów. Kilka wersji ubuntu wcześniej wszystko hulało.
Na zrzucie pokazany graficznie poziom zapisywanego dźwięku. Co muszę zmienić w ustawieniach (zainstalować?)

Jakie źródło dźwięku masz ustawione jako źródło nagrywania? Poszukaj czy dane źródło dźwięku ma dodatkowy suwak "Boost".
