1. Niektóre repozytoria w pliku sources.list są błędne - słowo DIST powinno być zamienione na precise.
2. PPA z Javą, które tam masz w ogóle się nie nadaje do Ubuntu 12.04 - usuń to repozytorium.
3. Ikonki i nazwy plików z katalogu sources.list.d są mi zupełnie obojętne. Chodziło mi o zawartość tych plików (a konkretnie tych z rozszerzeniem .list).
4. Podejrzewam, że niektóre repozytoria powielają się w pliku sources.list i plikach w katalogu sources.list.d - to też może powodować błędy.

Najlepiej by było, gdybyś zrobił porządek z repozytoriami i np. skorzystał z listy zamieszczonej na forum. Póki co wydaje się, że wklejałeś coś na ślepo z jakiegoś poradnika i wyszło jak wyszło.

mario 7 Dziękuję. Próbowałem podać pliki source.list.d z terminala przy pomocy ls ale nie potrafię lub robię coś nie tak. Muszę jeszcze sporo się nauczyć. Chciałem zainstalować jave 6 u31 i to chyba się z stąd wzięło. Z poradnika kolegi Folkena skorzystałem. Usunąłem repo i ponownie je dodałem ale mam te same błędy.

Od początku, bo się miesza.

Podaj zawartość pliku sources.list oraz plików .list w katalogu sources.list.d oraz jakie teraz błędy otrzymujesz.

Podpowiedź, skoro chciałbyś terminala użyć:

A jeszcze lepiej, bo z podziałem na pliki:

Repozytoria wyglądają ok, co prawda niektóre się powtarzają - zrób tak, aby żadna linijka się nie dublowała.

Jakie konkretnie błędy teraz otrzymujesz? Czy są to jedynie nieobecne klucze GPG? Jeśli tak, to rozwiązanie tego problemu jest podlinkowane w wątku z repozytoriami.
Jeśli to coś innego, to wklej tutaj komunikaty jakie otrzymujesz.

Na boku dodam, że odradzam korzystanie z repozytoriów proposed (widzę, że masz je włączone) - są tam pakiety, które nie są jeszcze dostatecznie przetestowane i mogą negatywnie wpływać na stabilność systemu.

Dziękuję. Na chwilę obecną przy pomocy aktualizacji w terminalu nie mam błędów a jedynie zdublowanie Google Chrome. Klucze już zaimportowałem zgodnie z instrukcją. Nie widzę lub jestem ślepy z powtarzaniem się repo. Nie chodzi chyba o deb i src w każdej linijce. Przygodę z Ubuntu dopiero zaczynam.

Zapewne chodzi o wpis w pliku /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list oraz identyczny w pliku /etc/apt/sources.list w sekcji Google
