Grub w Lenovo g700 (W8 & Ubuntu)
Witam, tym razem mam problem z bootowaniem Ubuntu na moim Lenovo g700.
Udało mi się już je zainstalować ale żeby uruchomić, trzeba uruchamiać komputer "małym guzikiem", potem wybrać boot menu... i wtedy uruchamia się chyba grub - można wybrać windowsa ubuntu i inne tryby.
Natomiast, jeśli uruchomię komputer normalnie (dużym guzikiem), to od razu odpala się ósemka, bez jakiejkolwiek możliwości wybrania systemu.
W Ustawieniach biosu wywaliłem partycję z windowsem na koniec listy lecz nie pomogło.
Chciałbym, żeby w normalny sposób uruchamiał się grub z możliwością wybrania systemu

Już jest lepiej, w boot menu wyświetla się nazwa Ubuntu, kolejność systemów się zmieniła itd - fajny ten programik.

Oba pliki które zamieściłeś są takie same. Pisząc "Podaj wynik skryptu" miałem na myśli abyś ponownie uruchomił skrypt po zmianach które uczyniłeś.

Zdaje się że źle zinterpretowałem problem i niepotrzebnie kazałem zrobić konwersję Ubuntu do efi.
Zacznijmy od tego co należało wykonać na początku - sprawdź w biosie jak staruje system w trybie "uefi" czy "legacy"(not-efi). Gdzie tego szukać w biosie lenovo nie wiem. Przykład znajdziesz w "Set up the BIOS in EFI or Legacy mode" w linku który podałem. Jeśli masz ustawione "legacy" to wykonaj konwersję Ubuntu do legacy(Converting Ubuntu into Legacy mode).

w biosie zakładka "Boot" już to na początku przerabiałem. Doczytałem, że jeśli jest windows 8 standardowo na komputerze to jest ustawione Uefi co uniemożliwia instalację innego systemu - nie można bootować płyt itd.
Dlatego zmieniłem na Legacy.
Zrobiłem t co powiedziałeś i sprawa wygląda teraz tak, że podczas uruchamiania komputera odpala się windows. W biosie w opcjach Boot nie ma pozycji ubuntu. Wyświetla się ona jak wejdę w boot menu. Jak ją wybiorę to uruchamia się grub, ale nie ma możliwości wybrania windowsa.
Więc po 1 trzeba jakoś zmienić kolejność rozruchu i żeby w grubie była możliwość znowu wybrania windowsa.

Jeśli po wykonaniu konwersji do uefi miałeś ustawiony start w trybie legacy to ubuntu nie mogło poprawnie wystartować.
W obecnej sytuacji aby windows pojawił się w menu gruba powinno wystarczyć wykonanie polecenia:(oczywiście w ubuntu).

'update-grub' ma odnaleźć inne systemy na dysku i dodać je do menu gruba. Czy w menu ubuntu jest windows? 1 Podczas instalacji Gruba, wyskakuje w terminalu okienko i są 2 opcje do zaznaczenia partycja z windowsem lub ubuntu zaznaczyłem ubuntu i poszło.
Jest jedna pozycja z windowsem, nazywa się jakoś "Windows boot menager /dev/...." i dale nie pamiętam ale po uruchomieniu tego zwraca jakiś błąd = można wybrać tylko ubuntu.
