Brak jakiegokolwiek dźwięku w systemie Linux Mint.

Witam, posiadaczką Linuxa jestem zaledwie od kilku dni i borykam się z problemem. Otóż w całym systemie nie ma dźwięku. Szukałam rozwiązania na poza polskie fora i żadne rozwiązanie nie działa. Pewności nie mam czy moja karta dźwiękowa jest zaistalowana( ale instalowałam ). Mały głośniczek w panelu również zniknął. Uprzedzam, iż nie działają mi niektóre komendy, więc mam dodatkowy problem.

Wygląda na to, że znowu wróży z fusów...

A wcześniej działał? Z Minta nigdy nie korzystałem, ale jeżeli ma on taką możliwość, to uruchom Mint z nośnika instalacyjnego w trybie Live i sprawdź, czy dźwięk jest.

Pewności nie mam czy moja karta dźwiękowa jest zaistalowana( ale instalowałam ).

Co instalowałaś, skąd to się wzięło i w jaki sposób instalowałaś?

Spróbuj przeładować moduł ALSA:

Źle się wyraziłam w niektórych zdaniach. Wybaczcie. Otóż przez pierwsze dwa dni działania linuxa, było jak najbardziej wporządku. Lecz w końcu naszła mnie ochota na instalacje jednej z gier mianowicie League of Legends. Napotkałam się z problemem, którym była instalacja Playonlinux, który w żaden sposób nie działał. Szukałam pomocy na innych forach i mi na dzień dzisiejszy działa, co do gry dałam sobie spokój, gdyż pewnego dnia dźwięk poprostu 'zamarł'. Pierwszą myślą było, że mam odłączone lub wyciszone głośniki. Sprawdzając ustawienia było w porządku. Również na pomoc przyszły mi zagraniczne jak i polskie fora internetowe. Tu jest ten problem, że jestem nie dość obeznana w nowym systemie i wpisuje komendy, których znaczenia nie mam pojęcia.
I znów przepraszam, za dość chaotyczną wypowiedź, lecz mam nadzieje, że wiadomo co i jak :>

Speaker test działa i wysyła dźwięk na jakąś kartę, ale chyba nie tą, na której masz głośniki.

Spróbuj wysyłać dźwięk po kolei na kolejne wysyłać, aż usłyszysz dźwięk:

Nie masz bezmyślnie kopiować poleceń, to ruszyć głową od czasu do czasu.
speaker-test jest po to, żeby sprawdzić wyjścia dźwięku u siebie, a nie kopiować przykład, który podałem, żeby pokazać, jak to się sprawdza.

Która karta ma być domyślna, Nvidia czy ATI HDMI?

Na wyjściach dźwięku wisi Pulseaudio.
W takim przypadku zainstaluj pavucontrol, paprefs i wybierz w którymś
z nich nim domyślną kartę.
Potem sprawdź, czy wyście Pulseaudio działa, np mplayerem:
