Modem D-Link DWM-156 - sterowniki Kubuntu 12.04

Witam,

zakupiłem modem jak w temacie, jednak po podłączeniu go do portu USB nic się nie dzieje, prawdopodobnie nie ma sterowników. Modem działa (dioda wskazuje gotowość do pracy). Może mi ktoś pomóc w instalacji? Chodzi o komendę do wpisania w terminalu. Na forum niestety nic nie ma. System Kubuntu 12.04.

Zakładam, że masz jakiś inny dostęp do sieci (po kablu lub Wifi) w tym komputerze.

Klepnij w terminalu:

Uruchom ponownie komputer i sprawdź, czy jest jakiś postęp. Jak nie to wrzuć raz jeszcze powyższe polecenia.

Działa, tylko nic nie wyświetla. Jego zadaniem jest wyczyszczenie tego, co dmesg zgromadził od startu komputera.

Mam inny dostęp. Inny modem USB (marki ZTE) zadziałał od razu, bez problemu.


Komputerowi istotnie brakuje niektórych aktualizacji. Wynika to z tego, że komputer ma dostęp wyłącznie do internetu mobilnego z niewielkim limitem transferu danych. Ale spróbuję go zaktualizować w pełni.

Aha, znalazłem coś takiego:

Skopiowałem plik .deb będąc na Windowsie, uruchomiłem go na Linuxie (zainstalowałem ten pakiet - sudo dpkg -i 3g_modem_connect_DWM156_i386.deb), ale nic nie pomogło.

Modemu tego nie wykrywa też w pełni zaktualizowany i aktualizowany na bieżąco Xubuntu 13.10.
