Dropbox - wymaga "Authentification", brak ikonki, pliki się nie aktualizują

Cześć!
Mój dropbox w pewnym momencie zniknął z górnego panelu i pliki się nie aktualizowały, odinstalowałam go i zainstalowałam na nowo, ale też się nie pojawiał :( Po kolejnej próbie instalacji, pojawił się komunikat:
Dropbox requires Nautilus to be restarted to function properly.
Potem próbowałam przez terminal zgodnie z jakimiś komendami znalezionymi w internecie (przepraszam, ale już ich nie pamiętam) i teraz niby jest zainstalowany, jak w niego kliknę, pojawia się komunikat:
Authentification is needed to run `/usr/bin/dropbox' as the super user
i chce hasło, ale po wpisaniu nic się nie dzieje.
No i nie aktualizują mi się pliki.
Próbowałam też:

Czy ktoś ma pomysł, co jeszcze mogę zrobić?

Jak chcę dojść przez roota do lokalizacji

/usr/bin/dropbox
Nie ma tam czegoś takiego jak dropbox. Natomiast w zainstalowanych programach istnieje, nie robiąc nic poza pytaniem o Authentification is needed to run `/usr/bin/dropbox' as the super user

Ja się nadal z tym bawię, dziś wpisałam:
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
E: dpkg został przerwany, należy wykonać ręcznie "sudo dpkg --configure -a", aby naprawić problem.
A potem:
