[SOLVED] instalacja karty wifi pcmcia TP-Link WN310G ATHEROS

Post autor: TOMcki »

Witam!
nie moge sobie poradzic z instalacja karty wifi pcmcia TP-Link WN310G.
Generalnie sprawa wyglada nastepujaco:
  • System-> Administracja -> Hawrdware Drivers - tutaj zaznaczylem cos takiego jak Atheros HardwareAccess Layer (HAL). Jest zaznaczona opcja 'in use'.
  • jesli chodzi o sterowniki madwifi to kolega ktory sie troszke lepiej zna ode mnie mowi ze cos tam zainstalowal - nie wiem dokladnie.
Jesli chodzi o wbudowana karte wifi (chipset broadcom) to wszystko dziala jak nalezy. Potrzebuje jednak czegos z mocniejsza antena, a taka wlasnie ma karta ktora usiluje zainstalowac.

Po wklepaniu komeny lsmod wyskakuje mi cos takiego

Post autor: kastyk »

Oto istotna linia z wyniku dmesg:
[ 58.156007] wifi%d: unable to attach hardware: 'No hardware present or device not yet supported' (HAL status 1)
Wyłącz kartę Broadcoma w BIOSie, jeśli możesz, następnie użyj mego HowTo i zainstaluj zaktualizowany sterownik do karty na Atherosie. Jeśli zadziała, patrz mój podpis :)

Odp: [SOLVED] instalacja karty wifi pcmcia TP-Link WN310G ATHEROS

Post autor: Cyryllo »

Próbuję wg tego How-To lecz przy wydaniu komendy make wywala mi

Kod: Zaznacz cały

Makefile.inc:66: *** /lib/modules/2.6.24-22-generic/build is missing, please set KERNELPATH. Stop.
Powiem że Hardware Drivers Manager widzi mi te sterowniki i niby są uruchomione lecz nie uruchamia mi przy starcie karty.
iwconfig pokazuje:

Kod: Zaznacz cały

lo no wireless extensions.

irda0 no wireless extensions.

eth1 no wireless extensions.

a ifconfig:

Zainstalowałem najpierw czysty Ubuntu bez okienek a następnie zainstalowałem LXDE Jeśli ma ktoś jakieś pomysły to czekam na nie :)
