następnie sciągnąć archiwum ze strony http://intellinuxwireless.org/?n=Downloads jest to paczka iwlwifi-3945-ucode-2.14.1.5.tgz potem rozpakować i jej zawartosć wrzucić do /lib/firmware i na koniec restart ubuntu :]

szukałem tego pliku "modpobe.conf" ale nie mam pojecia gdzie on jest

wracając do sytuacji to posiadam ThinkPada R61i z kartą WLAN i Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG - system wykrywa tą karte ale jak chcę się połączyć z wyszukanymi sieciami wireless to niewychodzi:(

dzieki pomoglo pokazuje ze jest sprawny jutro dam znac czy sie laczy z siecia bo nie mam teraz dostepu do wireless

odnośnie jeszcze tej karty pokazuje ze się łączy i świeci sie kontrolka wi-fi ale gdy wpisuje klucz WPA i chce się połączyć to nie mogę odrzuca mnie przy procesie konfiguracji połączenia prubwałem wiele razy i nie wychodzi

Wogóle nic nie wyświetla łącze sie za pomocą KNetwork Menager'a wpisuje WPA i po próbie konfiguraji połączenia rozłącza sie ...

Masz dostęp do Access Pointa? Zobacz czy karta połączy się gdy wyłączysz szyfrowanie. Spróbuj również z szyfrowaniem WEP.

Przepraszam pomyliłem nazwę pliku nie modprobe.conf tylko modules.conf w /etc jeszcze raz sorki za błąd.
