mplayer nie odtwarza filmów dvd

Zaktualizowałem dzisiaj ubuntu do wersji 9.04. Uprzednio miałem zainstalowane wszystkie kodeki i nie miałem najmniejszych problemów z odtwarzaniem filmów. Dzisiaj spróbowałem odtworzyć film na mplayerze a on po wydaniu komendy otworzenia miast odtwarzać zakończył działanie. Czy aktualizacja do 9.04 wymaga ponownej instalacji całego tego multimedialnego oprogramowania?
Jak to zrobić?

Nikt nie spotkał się z tym problemem?

Możesz otworzyć totemem -on sam woła o kodeki, których brakuje.
Możesz również doinstalować paczkę "ubuntu-restricted-extras", ale pamiętaj, że dociąga również zależności, których możesz nie potrzebować np. jave

Jeśli mplayer się zamyka podczas uruchamiania, to problem wcale nie musi leżeć w kodekach, tylko w samym mplayerze. Zmień w home nazwę folderu mplayer i uruchom go. Wystartuje na czysto- zobaczysz, czy też się zamyka.

Ten pakiet jest już w najnowszej wersji. Usunięcie katalogu .mplayer też nic nie zmieniło.
Totem też się wywala.

Pisząc "wklej jako 'CODE'" miałem na myśli przycisk w edytorze oznaczony znakiem '#' (zaznaczasz wklejony fragment i klikasz w przycisk '#').

Problem z odtwarzaniem płyt DVD występuje również u mnie. Bez problemu można uruchomić wybierając w okienku z pytaniem, którego programu użyć do otwarcia płyty, ale działa tylko Totem lub SMplayer oraz VLC.
Próba uruchomienia z 'mplayer' kończy się komunikatem błędu.

Co tu rozwijać? Dokładnie to samo mam, gdy próbuję odtworzyć DVD za pomocą mplayera, totema czy tego smplayera, tj. pojawia się okno odtwarzacza i natychmiast niknie wskutek zatrzymania pracy programu.

Jak uruchamiam z terminala to mam komunikat:

A czy to samo się dzieje jak spróbujecie odtworzyć Mplayera z Video Outpu jako np xv lub x11?

Niestety tak. Może to wina sterowników do karty graficznej? Mam Tungsten, Mesa DRI 945GM 200807x86. Po zainstalowaniu Ubuntu 9.04 wyłącza się mplayer od razu po uruchomieniu.

To może tak, wywal w32codecs, mplayera, usuń katalog/zmień nazwę/przenieś katalog .mplayer, a później zainstaluj wszystko od nowa. Jak uaktualniałem 8.10 do 9.04 Beta, to też miałem coś podobnego i takie zabiegi pomogły. Ewentualnie możesz spróbować zaktualizować sterowniki tak jak tu: viewtopic.php?t=101064

Zrobiłam grzecznie wszystko co napisaliście wyżej. Odinstalowałam i zainstalowałam, zaktualizowałam sterowniki, no wszystko po prostu. A efektu żadnego. Tyle, że jak w mplayerze zmienie na x11 to mi się nie zamyka, ale moge oglądać tylko w małym okienku, takim jak się uruchamia domyślnie mplayer. Próby powiększenia okna kończą się niepowodzeniem. Przy xv zamyka się jak się zamykał... A mam obok openSuse i działa wszystko ok...

Widzę, że sporo osób ma problemy z odtwarzaniem filmów po przejściu na 9.04.
Między innymi i ja i Breblebrox (parę postów niżej).
Na ustawionym sterowniku xv wywala od razu programy. Przy x11 strasznie tnie film i się nie da oglądać. Mam nadzieję, że ktoś kiedyś do tego dojdzie i uda się to poprawić. Tym bardziej że nie jest to odosobniony przypadek.
A w poprzednich wersjach takich problemów nie było (przynajmniej u mnie).
Sam czekam z nadzieją, że na 9.04 obejrzę jeszcze niejeden film.

No to może to:

W moim przypadku to nie działa, dalej bez zmian.
Instalowałem 9.04 z polskiej edycji, korzystałem ze skryptów, porad na forum i problem wciąż jest. Może troszkę mniejszy bo już mam obraz ale oglądać się nie da.
Po zainstalowaniu 8.10 wszystko chodziło bez zarzutu i może właśnie trzeba będzie przeskoczyć na tą wersję - przynajmniej na jakiś czas.

Po włączeniu filmu DVD ( "Oficer" z jakieś gazety 4odcinki na krązku) sytuacja wygląda następująco:
1)Po wybraniu pliku z wyborem scseny zawiesza mi się system)
2)Film ma ustawione dziwne kolory - mdłe, blade
3)Bardzo powoli chodzi - wyswietla mi 25klatek (nie wiem czy to duzo ale ogląda się badziewnie jakby w zwolnionym tempie)
4)Po wybraniu innej sceny w filmie obraz nie zawsze sie wyświetla. Czarny ekran ale dzwięk jest.

To nco zrobiłem to zainstalowałem w32codecs
Kumple, rzucili pomysł, że to wina procka, grafiki ale compiz fusion działa mi normalnie - wszystkie efekty.

Moja taka uwaga, że ten problem mają wszyscy użytkownicy (ci co napisali) z zainstalowanym Gnomem.

Używam programu Totem. Ale jak czytam to nie wina playera.
