Błąd przy instalacji sterowników HPLIP.

Witam.
Mam problem z zainstalowaniem sterowników do drukarki HP Photosmart C3180.
Pojawiają mi się 2 błędy podczas instalowania sterów hplip-3.9.8.

To sprubuj to nie na root instalowac pozatym brakuje ci plikow troche ale moze ci ktos podpowie wiecej kto sie zna na tym lepjej

hp-setup pomogło w zainstalowaniu sterowników ale i tak nie jest dobrze

teraz drukarka wciąga kartkę i tylko ją przewija a nic nie drukuje ale
czasami bywa tak że coś wydrukuje ale są to jakieś "chińskie znaczki" albo symbole

Czasem można się napocić z ręczną instalacją HPLIP. Sterowniki powinny być natomiast w repo. Wywal te i zainstaluj z repo. Może będą radzić sobie lepiej z obsługą drukarki.

Sterowniki w repo - mam na myśli oczywiście pakiet HPLIP.

!@$#$... już się pogubiłem, najlepiej by było gdyby tak od początku co mam zrobić żebym mógł zacząć drukować

1. Odinstaluj HPLIP: http://hplipopensource.com/node/188.
2. Zainstaluj HPIJS - chyba są w repo.

Zobaczymy co się stanie. Osobiście dziwi mnie, że Ubuntu na starcie nie rozpoznał drukarki, ale i tak się zdarza

EDIT:
Cóż...z tego co widzę, to hplip obsługuje już Twoją drukarkę. Wypada mi zatem napisać - czy pobrałeś sterowniki do swojego właśnie modelu.

sterowniki są do HP Photosmart C3180 dla Ubuntu 8.04.1

w praktyce teraz drukarka zachowuje się tak:
-odpalam drukarkę
-drukuje się automatycznie strona testowa
-potem chcę wydrukować dokument (w Open Office)
-i przewija się przez drukarkę pusta kartka
